How to locate the lot number on our products. The Lot number will be printed somewhere on the side of the bottle or lip balm tube (see examples below):
Note: On a 2 gallon or 5 gallon size bucket, the lot number may be on the bottom.
The LOT Code for Soothing Touch products (except Lip Balms prior to 2023) can be found printed toward the bottom of the bottle/jar/pail or on the label. It is a 4 digit number. See below for an explanation of the code.
LOT CODE example: 7015 = January 15, 2017 - Date of manufacture
The first digit (7) = 2017 - the last number of the year
The last 3 digits (015) = January 15 - the 15th day of the year (See Julian Calendar reference chart below)
LIP BALMS Prior to 2023: The LOT Code for Lip Balms was previously a 3 digit alphanumeric code printed on the label in black ink. If you have questions about a lip balm product created prior to 2023, please contact us at customerservice@soothingtouch.com for assistance in translating your lot number codes.
